FCT Exco approves completion of abandoned Utako General Hospital, upgrade of FCT health facilities

The FCT Executive Council approved the immediate renovation, rehabilitation, and upgrading of all 14 general hospitals in the territory, including new medical equipment, diagnostic facilities, and theatre upgrades. Work on the long-abandoned Utako General Hospital was ordered to resume, covering construction, equipment, and staffing. The council also approved the digitalization of the FCT High Court, introducing electronic case management systems to replace manual records, aiming to improve judicial efficiency.
