Gachagua Raises Alarm Over Alleged Plot to Disrupt Kikuyu Rally, Demands Police Action

Democracy for the Citizens Party leader Rigathi Gachagua has alerted Inspector General Douglas Kanja about an alleged plan to disrupt a political rally in Kikuyu Town scheduled for April 11. Gachagua accuses National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah of making threats and being involved in coordinated efforts to interfere with the meeting. He also reported intelligence indicating that groups of hired goons are being mobilized to create chaos and block roads leading to the town.
