Gambia: over 80 migrants dead in a boat heading to the Canaries

A boat from Gambia carrying about 128 people was found after nearly a month at sea, with over 80 dead, including a baby. Survivors, all men from West Africa, reported dire conditions, with passengers falling ill after food and water supplies ran out. Spanish authorities located the vessel 120 kilometers south of Gran Canaria, where five bodies were discovered on board.
