Gbêkê: Chiefs of tribes, villages and cantons of Diabo and Languibonou respond to Jacques Assahoré

The chiefs of cantons, tribes and villages of Diabo-Languibonou responded to the statement of Minister Jacques Assahoré Konan of June 4, 2026. They assert that their protest motion respects traditions and the organic law n°2020-942, which recognizes the sovereignty of cantons in choosing their chiefs. They denounce violations of customary rules and reject accusations of disrespect.
