Gbêkê Region: After the Gblo Canton of Diabo, the Walêbo Also Rises Against Nanan Ngoran Koffi II

The chiefs of the Walêbo royalty in Sakassou protested against Nanan N’Goran Koffi II, regional president of the National Chamber of Kings and Traditional Chiefs of Gbêkê, via a motion read on June 10, 2026. They denounce his 'solitary and cavalier' management and accuse him of unilaterally appointing Mr. Kouakou Kouamé Mathieu as Sakassou's representative without consulting traditional authorities. This protest follows similar ones in the Gblo canton of Diabo and Languibonou.
