Nigeria's 4.43 percent economic growth in Q2 2026 masks a deepening industrial crisis, according to the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN). The services sector accounted for 56.62 percent of GDP, while the industrial sector fell to 3.96 percent. MAN's Director-General, Segun Ajayi-Kadir, noted that a 10.63 percent contraction in the electricity and gas supply segment contributed to this deterioration.
