Brigadier General Ezo'o Mvondo Simon was buried in his native village of Essam Esse, attended by numerous dignitaries, including the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defense, Joseph Beti Assomo, and the Governor of the South Region, Félix Nguele Nguele. The eulogy was delivered by Brigadier General Nka Valère, outlining the military and social career of the deceased. A condolence message from President Paul Biya was also read during the ceremony.
