Geneva Court residents raise maintenance complaints as repair delays become election issue

Residents of Geneva Court in Scottsdene, Kraaifontein, say they are still waiting for repairs to leaks, damp, mould and other maintenance problems. Megan Fisher, the National Coloured Congress ward 7 candidate, says she reported issues to municipal officials on September 7, 2026, including leaking roofs and pipes, broken windows and faulty plugs. After submitting a requested list of 25 units needing maintenance, she says she received no meaningful feedback or reference number. The dispute has become a political issue ahead of the November 4 local government elections.
