The Taraba State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) announced that only duly registered members will be allowed to participate in the 2027 primaries. Meanwhile, rival factions have emerged within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Zamfara, and ADC leaders in Oyo held parallel congresses. Former Jigawa council chairman, Hon. Shehu Sule Udi, has defected from the APC to join the ADC.
