Political activist Aisha Yesufu stated that officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were allegedly bribed to remove the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The ADC has also accused INEC of plotting to prevent them from participating in the 2027 elections. Additionally, prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) continue to defect to the ADC, which is facing significant challenges in Jigawa State.
