Trump says oil, gas and mineral exploration to begin in Greenland

Donald Trump announced that large-scale exploration for oil, gas, and minerals will begin in Greenland, a self-governing Danish territory. He stated that Greenland holds some of the world's largest reserves of easily extractable oil, without providing details on US involvement. Last month, Trump signed a security deal with Denmark and Greenland that includes establishing new military bases and deploying the 'Golden Dome' missile defense system. He emphasized that any future attack on the US would have to pass through Greenland, highlighting its strategic importance.
