Global AI Summit in Seoul: Togo Presents Four Digital Initiatives

Togo is taking part in the Global Summit on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology, which opened in Seoul on October 19, 2026, where Minister Cina Lawson is set to present four initiatives. They include the Novissi cash-transfer program, digital skills training, the “Voix du Togo” project on national languages, and the World Bank-supported Digital Acceleration Project. The October 21 session focuses on employment, productivity, and access to essential services, as 1.2 billion young people in developing countries are projected to enter the labor market over the next 10 to 15 years.
