Goma: Woman Power DRC launches DIGIRISE 2026 to strengthen economic empowerment of young girls through digital technology

On the occasion of International Girls' Day, Woman Power DRC introduced DIGIRISE 2026 in Goma on October 13, a project aimed at empowering young girls and women economically through digital tools. Supported by UN Women RDC, UNDP RDC, and Africell Group, the initiative seeks to foster financial independence, entrepreneurship, and female leadership by organizing a two-day capacity-building workshop at the end of October focused on digital tools and AI. It specifically targets women entrepreneurs to help prevent early marriages and gender-based violence.
