“Gouiri is a leader at OM as in Algeria, Abdelli has grown mentally”: Neghiz praises the performances of Marseille’s two Fennecs

Despite a mixed start to the season, with four wins and four losses in Ligue 1 and three Europa League defeats, Amine Gouiri and Himad Abdelli are among Marseille’s most convincing performers. Gouiri has scored five goals and provided two assists, while Abdelli has scored three times. Niger coach Nabil Neghiz, formerly an assistant with Algeria under Vladimir Petkovic, praised Gouiri’s talent, versatility and professionalism, while lamenting injuries that kept him out for several months last season. He said both Algerian internationals have delivered for Marseille.
