Gov Namadi appoints son of late emir as 17th Emir of Gumel

Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has appointed Dr Lawan Ahmed Muhammad Sani as the 17th Emir of Gumel Emirate, just three days after the death of his father. The announcement was made by Secretary to the State Government, Bala Ibrahim, during a press briefing. Dr Lawan, who previously served as Ciroman Gumel, is seen as a worthy successor, and his experience is deemed crucial for ensuring continuity and stability in the emirate.
