Governor Namadi promises better welfare and renovation of Jigawa NYSC camp

Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi promised to review the monthly 5,000-naira allowance for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members in response to inflation and the rising cost of living. He also announced a 10,000-naira settling-in allowance for each Batch C member after the three-week orientation, alongside renovations to the Yakubu Gowon camp in Fanisau, a new hall and a standby generator. Namadi urged public employers to arrange transport to corps members’ places of primary assignment and encouraged them to integrate into their host communities.
