Governors pledge commitment to early childhood development

The 36 Nigerian governors have reaffirmed their commitment to making early childhood development a strategic priority in their respective states. They emphasized the importance of investing in this area to improve health, nutrition, school readiness, learning outcomes, and future productivity. The Director-General of the Nigeria Governors' Forum reminded that the period from pregnancy to the first five years of life is critical for a child's development.
