GPS Presidency: Successor to Guillaume Soro Known on September 26

The successor to Guillaume Soro as president of Generations and Solidarity Peoples (GPS) will be known on September 26, 2026, following the election to renew his mandate. The electoral committee announced the opening of the candidacy submission period starting September 8, with a deadline set for September 14. Candidates must submit a file including a motivation letter and a summary of their program, limited to 10 pages.
