Grand-Béréby: 2 employees steal a phone containing 3.5 million FCFA and are arrested by the BSR-Daloa

Two employees from a hotel in Grand-Béréby were arrested after stealing a service phone containing 3.5 million FCFA. The theft occurred on March 19, 2026, when one of the employees requested permission to visit his sick mother. After their departure, the phone went missing, leading to a five-month investigation. The suspects were located and arrested in San Pedro and Yamoussoukro in August 2026.
