A surveillance operation in collaboration with a bus driver led to the arrest of Youssouf Dia at Bignona garage in Grand-Yoff, caught retrieving a suspicious package containing one kilogram of cannabis hidden in a bag. The suspect, from Parcelles Assainies, claimed to act on instructions from Thierno. Phone calls requesting the drug’s location were recorded during the arrest, and investigators continue to pursue other members of the network.
