Grassroots Development: Wadagni Focuses on Six Poles to Transform Benin

President Romuald Wadagni introduced a reform of territorial poles at the Palais de la Marina, aiming to bring public action closer to local realities and turn territories into drivers of wealth creation. Six major territorial groups will be established, combining several departments, to better identify and support their growth engines, including agriculture, industry, tourism, and innovation. The reform plans tailored strategies for each pole with goals to reduce poverty, develop human capital, and generate wealth at the grassroots level, shaping public action over the next seven years.
