Gribo-Popoli hydropower project: CI-ENERGIES consults communities on its social commitments

CI-ENERGIES met with communities near the Gribo-Popoli hydropower project on 13 and 14 October 2026 in Soubré and Méagui. The meetings, chaired respectively by Mme YAPO Annick and M. PAHA Thimoté, were held to prepare social measures under the Environmental and Social Management Plan covering education, health, drinking water access and electrification. Electrification and network-extension works have already begun in Gastonpleu, Amonkro and Gnakoragui. CI-ENERGIES plans to update the remaining initiatives in consultation with residents and local public-service officials.
