Gridlock returns as trucks shut Mile 2 axis of Oshodi-Apapa Expressway

After over two years of respite, container-laden trucks and fuel tankers resurfaced on the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway in Lagos, causing massive gridlock around the Mile 2-Berger Yard axis. Commuters, including political editor Clifford Ndujihe, spent two hours travelling from Festac to Mile 2, while a commercial driver took nearly three hours to go from Mile 2 to Apapa. The Lagos state government warned truck operators of tough action.
