ADC-PCC Challenges Tinubu to Explain Alleged Payments for Ministerial Appointments

The ADC Presidential Campaign Council (ADC-PCC) called on President Bola Tinubu to respond to remarks attributed to his campaign spokesperson, Alwan Hassan, alleging that some ministers paid to secure their appointments and are trying to recover their investments. In a statement signed by Kola Ologbondiyan, the council challenged Hassan to identify the ministers, disclose the amounts paid and name the recipients. It also urged the EFCC and ICPC to investigate and the National Assembly to hold a public inquiry, while asking Tinubu whether he knew about the allegations. The ADC-PCC warned that silence from the Presidency would deepen public concern and described Atiku Abubakar’s 2027 presidential candidacy as an alternative.
