Guinea bans France 24 TV outlet from broadcasting

Guinea's media regulator, the High Authority for Communication, has banned the French outlet France 24 from broadcasting, citing remarks deemed derogatory towards President Mamady Doumbouya. This decision follows a September 14 broadcast where Doumbouya was referred to as a 'putschist president'. Additionally, the HAC withdrew press accreditation from a correspondent of Jeune Afrique for 'professional misconduct' without further explanation.
