Guinea: Cellou Dalein Diallo claims his passport has been revoked

Guinean opposition leader Cellou Dalein Diallo stated that his passport has been revoked by the authorities, preventing him from traveling to New York for meetings on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. Exiled since 2022, he was set to fly from Abidjan with Ethiopian Airlines. His party, UFDG, condemned this decision, while Guinean authorities have not yet responded. At 74, Diallo is a prominent figure in the Guinean opposition.
