Guinness World Record Holder Antoine Moses to Attempt 40,000 Mangrove Planting Record in Mombasa

Antoine Moses, the Guinness World Record holder for the most trees planted in 24 hours, will attempt to plant 40,000 mangrove seedlings in Mombasa, Kenya, from April 30 to May 1, 2026. This event aims to restore degraded coastal ecosystems and supports the Kenyan government's goal of planting over 15 billion trees by 2032. The initiative will bring together multiple partners, including the environment ministry and the Mombasa county government.
