Gunmen kidnap corpse of FRSC Deputy Commander, mourners in Kogi; demand N50m ransom

Gunmen intercepted a funeral convoy carrying the corpse of FRSC Deputy Commander Augustine O. Ikwue in Kogi State, kidnapping the corpse and several mourners. The corpse was abandoned and recovered near Ejule, but the abducted mourners remain in captivity. The kidnappers are demanding a ransom of ₦50 million for their release.
