National Dialogue in DRC: after CENCO, Anthony Nkinzo continues consultations with ECC

On October 8, 2026, a delegation from the DRC Presidency led by Anthony Nkinzo met with the president of the Church of Christ in Congo (ECC), Mgr André Bokundoa Bo Likabe, to discuss President Félix Tshisekedi's directives on the national dialogue. This follows an initial consultation with the CENCO in Lubumbashi involving Mgr Fulgence Muteba and Éric Nsenga, aimed at establishing an organizing committee and preparatory commission, with no date set for the dialogue. The religious groups support an inclusive and credible process and also promote the 'Social Pact for peace and well-being in DRC and the Great Lakes.'
