Haiti: El Salvador deploys 2,000 troops after 4 nationals are kidnapped

Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele deployed 2,000 troops to Haiti this week after four Salvadoran aviation technicians serving with an international anti-gang force were kidnapped. Gang leaders have threatened to retaliate, as the UN reports more than 5,700 people killed or injured in Haiti between January and mid-September.
