Harvey Weinstein sentenced to 15 years in sexual assault retrial

Harvey Weinstein, the former Hollywood producer, was sentenced to 15 years in prison in Manhattan for sexually assaulting Miriam Haley, a former TV production assistant. His sentencing follows a lengthy legal process, including the overturning of his 2020 conviction and a retrial last year where he was found guilty again. Weinstein, 74, plans to appeal and denies any wrongdoing. He was quickly taken out of the courtroom in a wheelchair, as some of his accusers expressed their emotions and shared their experiences.
