DRC: Christophe Lutundula’s ADP condemns creation of the FRN and calls for stronger international sanctions against Kabila and his allies

The Alliance of Democrats for Progress (ADP), led by Christophe Lutundula, condemned the creation of the Front for the Refoundation of the Nation (FRN), a new politico-military movement launched by former president Joseph Kabila after the AFC/M23’s transformation. It urged Congolese people to support President Félix Tshisekedi, the FARDC and the Wazalendo groups.

Yemen’s internationally recognised government also asked the UN Security Council to act over attacks on homes and state facilities, including the presidential palace in Aden.
