Heroic police dog Floppy shot while pursuing armed school robbers

Police dog Floppy was shot dead while pursuing armed robbers who had stolen 20 laptops, 15 cellphones, and the headmaster's car from Nzuzo Primary School in Mdantsane, South Africa. The K9 unit released Floppy to apprehend the suspects in dense bush, but gunshots were heard and the dog's body was recovered two days later with gunshot wounds. The three suspects remain at large and are considered extremely dangerous.
