Ogun State police arrested 21-year-old butcher Selim Ayodele over the alleged stabbing death of his 26-year-old colleague, Ibrahim Wasiu, in Alagbole last Sunday. Police said an argument broke out after their workday over who should sweep the workplace, and Ayodele allegedly stabbed Wasiu in the chest and twisted the knife. Wasiu was pronounced dead on arrival at Life Hospital, and his remains were taken to a mortuary for an autopsy. Ayodele remains in police custody as investigations continue ahead of prosecution.
