Hill-Lewis targets jobs and crime ahead of Western Cape local elections

DA leader and Cape Town mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis urged supporters to intensify their election campaign focusing on jobs, crime, and infrastructure development in the Western Cape, with less than 27 days until local elections. He highlighted the DA's achievements over the past five years, including hiring 1300 new metro police officers and establishing a specialized SWAT and drone unit to combat gang crime. Hill-Lewis emphasized that safer towns, community investment, and good infrastructure lead to economic growth and increased employment in the region.
