In 2024, 406,961 people were living with HIV in Côte d'Ivoire, including 265,409 women, 124,519 men, and 17,033 children. The district of Abidjan accounts for 36% of the cases. Côte d'Ivoire recorded 8,209 new infections and 8,366 HIV-related deaths, but deaths have decreased by 75% due to advancements in care.
