HIV/AIDS Fight: UN AIDS Reaffirms Support for 'Attack on AIDS' After Ten Years

Ten years after its launch, the national program 'Attack on AIDS' (AADS) in Ivory Coast continues its awareness and fight against HIV, with over 313,783 participants registered since 2017. On October 8, 2026, the UN AIDS country office in Abidjan held a review session highlighting the initiative's sustainability and achievements, including 188,094 participants during the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations. Dr. Christian Mouala, UN AIDS country director, reaffirmed the organization's commitment to support the program, which aims to modernize its digital platform and expand to other countries.
