PASTEF called the remarks extremely dangerous and denounced what it described as the normalization of hate speech and calls for force within the presidential camp. The party demanded an immediate response from the Dakar prosecutor’s office, arguing that the statements threaten state security. It urged President Bassirou Diomaye Faye to put an end to alleged offenses by members of his party and said it remained determined to protect its leader.
