Housing Bank in DRC: What Responses to Housing Difficulties?

The Democratic Republic of the Congo is facing a housing crisis with a deficit of about 4 million units according to UN Habitat. Families, often lacking resources, build makeshift homes in risky areas. To address this situation, the government is considering the establishment of a housing bank to facilitate access to decent housing for all Congolese citizens.
