Houthis target Yemen’s presidential palace in Aden with missiles

The Houthis fired five missiles at the vicinity of the al-Maashiq presidential palace in Aden, Yemen’s Information Minister Moammar al-Eryani said. The government said the prime minister and other officials were safe, but two of the prime minister’s bodyguards were killed; smoke rose near the palace. Al Jazeera correspondent Yousef Mawry described the attack on the internationally recognised government’s headquarters as the Houthis’ first of its kind, amid escalating fighting in Taiz and fears of an all-out civil war.
