How does Trump's MOU with Iran compare with Obama's nuclear pact?

US President Donald Trump signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Iran to end the war, in Versailles, France. The 14-point framework commits Iran to refrain from nuclear weapons development in exchange for sanctions relief, a $300bn reconstruction plan, and reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump hailed the deal as better than Barack Obama's 2015 JCPOA, but analysts warn it's too early to compare as the MOU focuses on extending the ceasefire rather than addressing Iran's nuclear program in detail.
