More than six months after Israel intensified its war on Lebanon, about 330,000 people are currently displaced, according to the International Organization for Migration (IOM). Although this figure has significantly decreased from a peak of over 1.2 million, humanitarian workers warn that the situation remains unstable and could deteriorate again. Fighting between Israel and Hezbollah has continued since October 2023, with Israeli attacks resulting in over 4,380 deaths and displacing hundreds of thousands of people, primarily in southern Lebanon.
