Muhammad Armayau, a resident of Badagry, recounted how Lagos emergency responders saved his seven-month-old daughter who fell critically ill during a heavy downpour. After calling the 112 emergency line, an ambulance traveled 24 km to reach them and took them to General Hospital Badagry. The father paid 14,000 naira for treatment, but would have spent only 1,400 naira if his health insurance coverage had been active.
