How one orangutan braved new bridge to unite his split community

The construction of a road through the forest in Indonesia split the Sumatran orangutan community, raising concerns about inbreeding and extinction. To address this, conservation groups built a canopy bridge, which remained unused for two years until one brave orangutan crossed it.
