A policeman from Diourbel, S. Diom, spent 3.5 million FCFA in a brothel instead of paying his imprisoned father's lawyer for an alleged rape case. After selling a plot of land for 4 million FCFA, he met S. Barry, a prostitute, and negotiated two sessions for 35,000 FCFA. The money was eventually found with S. Barry's partner, A. Diallo. The verdict is expected on June 4.
