Mali: One Man's Quest to End Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Mali

Sidi Haidara, a community leader in Mali, changed his perspective on female genital mutilation (FGM) after participating in training and community dialogues. He now encourages families to protect girls' rights and abandon the practice, which affects about nine out of ten women and girls in the country. Despite the lack of specific laws against FGM, Haidara uses his voice to initiate change within his community.
