Humanitarian situation in Sudan at ‘catastrophic levels’, says NGO

The humanitarian situation in Sudan is described as 'catastrophic' by the NGO Humanity & Inclusion, three years into the war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces. Approximately 11.6 million people have been displaced, and over 33 million require humanitarian assistance. People living with disabilities, making up 16% of the population, face extreme challenges in fleeing violence and accessing aid.
