Hundreds protest in Kyiv over Zelenskyy’s dismissal of defence minister

Hundreds of protesters gathered near the Ivan Franko National Theatre in Kyiv to protest the dismissal of Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, calling on President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to reverse the decision. Protests also took place in Lviv, Odesa, and Dnipro. The cabinet reshuffle includes the departure of Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and the expected appointment of Ihor Klymenko as defence minister. Fedorov praised his tenure on X, citing disabling Starlink for Russian forces and expanding domestic drone production.
