Hunters Kill Two Bandits and Recover N10 Million in Ransom in Kano Forest

Hunters killed two suspected bandits in Falgore Forest, in Doguwa Local Government Area of Kano State, and recovered N10 million. The suspects were reportedly ambushed while returning to their hideout, while a third group member escaped with injuries. Conflict reporter Bakatsine said the money was allegedly paid to secure the release of 45-year-old Kabiru Aliyu, who was abducted on September 11, 2026, and later freed unharmed. Kano State Police reportedly ordered searches of the forest and nearby communities to find the fleeing suspect and recover the weapons used.
