I begged Kwankwaso to stop El-Rufai from returning to Nigeria - Buba Galadima

Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), recalled warning former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai that he might be jailed due to his conduct. He revealed he visited NDC vice-presidential candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso to beg him not to allow El-Rufai to return from Egypt after his indictment. Galadima also accused President Bola Tinubu and his associates of ingratitude towards El-Rufai, who remains in custody following charges of corruption, contract fraud, cybercrime, and phone-tapping, despite being granted a N100 million bail by a Federal High Court.
